The latest color combination is Orange and Purple:

And I created a fun party hat shaped card in these colors!

To make my card, I used Jennifer McGuire’s idea for the party hat die from Pink & Main, that came with the September 2022 Crop & Create Delivered Cardmaking event. I had enormous fun in the event, and will post some of the cards that I made soon

I die cut the hat and the dots in purple and orange, and then assembled the hat. Next, I adhered everything right along the fold of an A2 card base, so I could later cut with my scissors along the edges of the hat, and create the shaped card.

As you can see, I added a “topper” to the hat, made of a silvery glitter foam. I also stamped a “happy birthday” sentiment (again, from Pink & Main), and added a few sequins around. The finished card can stand and swing, thanks to its shape

This is such a fun card, I really like it, and it took no time at all to create!
