Hello again! I’m back with another CAS(e) this Sketch card, and also showcasing two great stamp sets! This time, I’m all about rainbow cards.
As you might already know, I just LOVE sketch challenges. Among the many many sketch challenges out there, CAS(e) this Sketch is definitely my favorite 🙂 Always so creative and inspiring!
Last time I joined the challenge was two week ago with my Background Blocks Tile card, but it turns out that I forgot to upload it to the challenge (facepalm)… So here I go again, and this time I won’t forget to do it!
Here is this week’s sketch – isn’t it awesome?
I really liked this sketch, so I made two cards that are very similar, except for their orientation:
I like them both very much, but I like the vertical one better, so I’m choosing it for my entry. Here is a close-up photo of the vertical card:
For the rainbow stripes, I used the long and bold stamp from the Concord & 9th Bits and Pieces stamp set. Unfortunately, I believe it is discontinued 🙁 I stamped it using my MISTI stamping tool, shifting the card each time to create the movement of the stripes. For the colors, I used my favorite Gina K. ink cubes.
The sentiment is from the Happy Everything stamp set by Mama Elephant. I used Versafine Black Onyx ink to stamp it.
Take a look how sharp the stamping is:
Because I don’t want to insult the horizontal card (and also because I really like it too), here is a close-up photo of it:
Well, that’s all for today. I hope you liked my rainbow cards! 🙂
