Hello! After a long break from crafting, my crafty mood is finally back 🤗 Today, I’m back with a summer scene card!

My inspiration for this card came from this week’s challenge at Fusion Card Challenges – Winter. Here is the challenge photo:

At first, I thought about making a winter scene card. So, I picked my brand you stamp set by Gina K Designs – You Warm My Heart. This stamp set is gorgeous (!!) and I couldn’t wait to use it after my Black Friday purchases have arrived.

But, this is the view from my window today:

With so many grey clouds everywhere, I just had to make something more colorful 😉 I still wanted to use that awesome stamp set, so I played with blue and green inks, and made a summer scene instead!

Here is my card:

I used Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink for the sky. I left the sky bright and clear on purpose, to contrast the grey sky outside.
