Hello! I’m really behind with my homework for OCC Spring Card Camp 😆 It’s day 15 already, and I’m only posting my cards for day 11… Today is about rainbow cards 🌈🌈🌈
Our teacher for day 11 was Dawn Woleslagle, and she showed a fun and easy way to create rainbows for more than one card at a time, using die cuts.
I created two different cards:
For the clouds, I applied Tumbled Glass Distress Ink over a clouds stencil.
I also heat embossed the rainbow with a clear glitter embossing powder. This was a great idea from Dawn, I just love how it looks:
My first card has a round rainbow, so I thought it would fit nicely on a square.
The bottom layer of clouds has foam tape underneath, for more dimension:
For my second card I chose to make an elliptic rainbow, so a standard A2 card was more appropriate.
I just love the clouds on this card! 😍
I’m submitting my rainbow cards to Simonsaysstamp Monday Challenge – “Create a Scene”. By the way, My hat spinner card was chosen as one of the designer spotlights for the last challenge!! I’m so excited and grateful!
