Hi! After my first homework blitz, I managed to create two more cards, on the very final hours of OCC Spring Card Camp! I went back to day 2 technique – seamless ink transitions on stamped images.
In day 2, Kristina Werner showed a great way to stamp two cards on the same time, by stamping on the border between them.
She used large starts stamps for her cards, but I decided to use butterflies instead of stars:
I chose light grey cardstock for my background. It’s so soft, it looks like silver! 😍
I used the gorgeous Butterflies stamp set by Avery Elle and Distress Oxide Inks for stamping. It’s one of my favorite stamp sets, and I used it many times in the past (here is an example).
The sentiment is from Simonsaysstamp Follow the Rainbows stamp set.
Here’s a close-up of the first card. love the delicate details on the letters!
And here’s the second card:
See how the grey cardstock looks like silver? it’s amazing 🤩
In this photo, you can really see how the two cards match together nicely:
Here’s another one from a different angle, just because I like this so much! 🙂
Well, that’s about it!
Some Final Notes on OCC Spring Card Camp
These are my last cards for the Spring Card Camp. This class was HUGE fun, and I’m so glad Spring Card Camp 2 has already started 🤩🤩
