Hi! I’m back with my entry for CAS Colors & Sketches #392 ๐. I used a circle mask to create a fun background for my card, and kept it really clean &ย simple!
Here is this week’s sketch:
And here is my card:
I used different stamps from the Natural Silhouettes stamp set by Gina K. Designs. (By the way, I used it about 10 days ago to create this card. I like using the same stamp set for different card designs, because it makes the investment much more worth it ๐ )
Below you can see a close-up photo of the focal point:
For the circular background, I used Peacock Feathers distress oxide ink, and a circle mask that I created very easily, simply by cutting a circle and using the negative part of the paper instead of the circle die cut. After that I applied the ink with my blending tool. So easy!
I think I will use the same layout again very soon, to create at least one more card with the same circle mask. It’s very quick, and I’m quite happy with the end result.
Well, I have less than two hours left to submit my card to the challenge blog, so I’ll wrap things up for today! I really hope you liked my card, so if you did, please leave me a comment below โ I love reading your comments!

What a beautiful card! Love the design and the ink blending. Thanks so much for joining us this week at CC&S!
Thank you! ๐
I love the way you take on our sketch on this card. The stenciled background is so stunning. And the sparkling on the bird and some leaves are perfect final touch for this card. Thank you for playing along with CC&S challenge.
Thank you! ๐
