Hello again! In this post I’m sharing my second card for FMS #469 – an artsy-looking card, with brush strokes on the background.
Here’s a reminder for this week’s sketch:
And here’s my second card: (by the way, If you haven’t seen my first card yet, click here!)
The brush stroke stamp is from the Tiny Textures stamp set by Gina K. Designs. It’s a mini stamp set, with four stamps that are great for backgrounds. I used GKD Innocent Pink ink to stamp the brush strokes on my card.
The flower and the sentiment are from the Watercolor Flowers stamp set.
This set has an artsy look that I can never create on my own, because I can’t draw anything at all. 😆 So it’s just perfect for me 🙂
For a finishing touch, I added a few clear Nuvo Drops:
Like I said, that sketch is very versatile – just look at the two different cards:
They’re in completely different styles, and yet you can see they’re based on the same sketch. Gotta love sketch challenges 😍
Which card is your favorite – the first one or the second? Tell me a comment below – I love reading your comments!

I love when our sketches can inspire such creativity! Wonderful. So glad you joined us this week at FMS!
I love both of these cards and I love how one sketch can lead to two totally different styles. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
Wow! This one is SO different!! I love the brush strokes of color with that graceful flower. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
