Hello and welcome! I’m excited to be guest designer at the Color Hues Challenge and share my card for the new challenge!
The new color combination at the Color Hues Challenge is blue and brown:
The combination reminded me of a sandy beach, so I wanted to create a card that reflects that idea.
First, I created a blended background with distress oxide inks. The colors that I used are Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean and Frayed Burlap. It’s a great color combination for beach scenes 🙂
Then, I used some stamps from the Ocean Minded stamp set by Gina K. Designs. I love this stamp set, it’s so unique and I used it many times in the past. (Click here for an example!)
Here is my card:
I really like the look of the wet footprints on the edge of the water. They look so realistic!
And here’s a close-up photo of the sea foam. I just LOVE this stamp!!
I hope you liked my sandy beach card and that you’ll join the challenge! ❤️
