Hello! Just a quick post today, to share a sunrise blended background card. I made it for the Color Throwdown challenge 🙂

Here’s this week’s color swatch:

If you remember, about two weeks ago, I made a couple of blended backgrounds cards with masking. I used different color combinations on them, and you can find all the details here. I really liked the look of those cards, and wanted to make another one with the same technique.

This time, I wanted to make a mini slimline card, with a sunrise look. The combo of pink & aqua took me immediately to Salvaged Patina and Kitsch Flamingo. 🥰🥰 I love how these two colors look together!

The pretty flowers are from the Natural Silhouettes stamp set by Gina K. Designs. I really like the organic look of the flowers, so pretty 🙂

The sentiment is from the You Warm My Heart stamp set (another favorite!):

Oh, and if you wondered about the sequins… Well, I had a small disaster while stamping the flowers, so I had to cover it with something. And after adding one sequin, I had to add a couple more. 😅 Although I don’t usually use sequins on my cards, I think they add a nice finishing touch to the card.
