Hello! I’m back today with my card for the Color Throwdown challenge. It has a fun sea scene card with fish and waves!
Here’s this week’s color scheme:
The inspiration photo and the colors reminded me of sea water and of the tiny silvery fish that swim in huge packs.
So, I created this card:
For the background I used Broken China and Faded Jeans distress oxide inks. Then, I die cut the waves with the Color Wave Cover-Up die from My Favorite Things.
The cute little fishes are from a gorgeous die set by Tanya Sol. That die set has 15 different dies of little fish!! I couldn’t use silver, because silver is not on the color scheme, so used it on Fog cardstock by Simon Says Stamp 🙂
For the bubbles, I used my white gel pen and added a few dots near each fish:
The sentiment is from the Ocean Minded stamp set by Gina K. Designs. I used it not so long ago to make another card, that you can find here.
This fish and waves card was so much fun to make!! I hope you like it as much as I do 😍
Thank you for stopping by today!
