Hi! Today I’m sharing my card for last week’s Color Throwdown challenge. It’s my first card using the pretty Botanical Blocks stamp set from Gina K. Designs!

Unfortunately, I didn’t post my card on time for the challenge, but I like it so much, so I’m posting anyway 🙂

Here’s the color scheme:

To make my card, I used the three floral stamps from the Botanical Blocks stamp set from Gina K. Designs, with red, pink and green inks. Then, I stamped the sentiment three times, to fill the spaces near each block. That stamp is from All the Birthdays stamp set by Concord  9th, and it’s perfect!! 😍😍

I love the look of the colorful blocks and the bold sentiments. They create a fun contrast:

This layout is great, I think I’m going to use it again very soon with different color combinations. 🙂 I want to try this with other stamp sets too, but this stamp set worked so well that I’ll probably use it again first…
