Hello! After being July’s guest designer at CAS Colours & Sketches, I’m happy to be back as a participant. 🙂 And guess what? I’m using the MFT Brilliant Butterflies stamp set again!

This week’s challenge is a color challenge:

My first attempt with these colors wasn’t great, so I decided to make another card. This time, I told myself “when in doubt, add butterflies”! 😂😂 As you probably know by now, I love using butterflies on my cards, and this card was no exception…

So here’s my card!

The photo is a bit dark, but the card base is a lighter gray than it looks 🙂

First, I stamped the butterfly with Tumbled Glass and Seedless Preserves distress inks. I wanted to keep my card super-simple, so after stamping the butterfly, I only added the cute sentiment from the Gina K. Designs Hello Sunshine mini stamp set:

I really like the way the butterfly matches the funky “hello sunshine” sentiment on this card. I was worried they might not work together, but they actually did! 🙂
