Hi there! Two posts on the same day, feels like a holiday! I must say, the new class on Online Card Classes is such a treat, I feel like it’s Halloween already! 😂😂

I’m finally catching up on Day 1 at Crushing on Cardstock, and sharing my card for the final technique – paper weaving. Caly Person shared a great tutorial for this technique, and I wanted to give it a try. I chose a color pallet – white, rose gold, teal and navy, and followed Caly’s tutorial to create a fun weaving pattern with my paper strips.

Because I liked the pattern so much, I decided to leave it as is and only add a sentiment:

The die is from the Tim Holtz Sizzix Celebration Words: Script die set. I stacked three die cuts and added Glossy Accents on top, to match the shiny background:

I’m so glad I tried this technique! It was my first time ever doing paper weaving, and it was really fun 🙂
