Hi! Today I’m sharing a special thank you card that I made for a dear girl names Lee. To make my card, I used only die-cuts!
I wanted my card to be simple, yet special and personal. So, I die-cut four large hearts, and then cut the letters “LEE” on each of them. (The letter dies are from the Tim Holtz Sizzix Alphanumeric Classic Upper die set.) It’s so nice that alphabet dies allow us to make personalized cards, don’t you think?
For a shiny look and smooth texture, I added a layer of Glossy Accents on the top heart.
For the sentiment, I added a die-cut Thank You from the Tim Holtz Sizzix Celebration Words: Scrip die set. I really like this die set, the sentiments are very pretty 🙂
To finish my card, I added the white panel to a black card base, and that was it! Here’s the finished card:
It was really fun making a card using only die-cuts! I usually use stamps or ink blending, but I’ve never tried “just” die-cutting. I’m very happy with how this card turned out, and I hope Lee will like it too 🙂
I’m submitting my card to the current Monday Challenge at Simon Says Stamp – Touchy Feely.
