Hello! I’m back today with another card from the Crop & Create Delivered Cardmaking event. I’ve made a rainbow leaves card, inspired by the latest challenge at Just Add Ink!
This week’s inspiration photo is so pretty:
The colorful leaves, in all the colors of the rainbow, inspired me to create this card:
I used a beautiful stencil set from The Stamp Market to create the gorgeous leaves pattern.
First, I blended six distress oxide inks over the first stencil, to create the rainbow.
Then, for more texture and interest, I wanted to heat emboss with glitter embossing powder. To be able to do that, I started by stamping the sentiment with black Versafine ink. Then, I applied clear Versamark ink through the second stencil. This way, when I sprinkled the embossing powder, it stuck to the center of the leaves and to the sentiment:
I really love the soft rainbow colors and the leaves pattern on this card ❤️ These stencils are my new favorites!
AND, I’m proud to say that I’m almost done with Saturday’s classes of the event… I’m slowly catching up 🙂 It’s so much fun and I don’t want it to end, so I’m taking my time.
And that’s all for today! Thank you so much for stopping by. For updates about new posts, please follow me on Instagram and Pinterest.
Have a beautiful Sunday! ❤️
