Hi! I’m back today with my second entry for CAS Colours & Sketches #443. I’ve made a “masculine” birthday card, but I think the design and layout will work great for any gender 🙂
Here’s the current sketch:
A couple of days ago, I made this card (click on the photo to see the full post):
As you probably know by now, I’m applying to the challenge design team, so I thought it would be fun to make another card for the challenge:
The abstract non-geometric shape was a great excuse to use one of the large stamps from the oh-so-cool Inquisitive stamp set by Tim Holtz and Stampers Anonymous. That guy is so cool!! I added a touch of color to his hat and collar with Prize Ribbon distress ink and a water brush.
To finish my card, I stamped the sentiment. Blue works great with kraft, so I added the white panel to a kraft card base, and my card was ready 🙂 I really like the simple, yet fun and unique, look of it. I wasn’t planning on making a “masculine” card, but I guess the colors led me there…
Thank you so much for stopping by today! For updates about new posts, please follow me on Instagram and Pinterest.
Have a great day! ❤️

Both cards are lovely Michal but I especially like the ‘how old’ card. What a fabulous image! Thank you for coming to play at CAS Colours and Sketches! Vicky x
