Hi there! I’m back today with a fun graphic birthday card that I made for two card challenges.
It’s been a while since I last played with the Color Throwdown challenge, and I’m joining the current challenge at the last minute! 😅
Here’s the color scheme:
The bright colors inspired me to play with the super-cool Cool Curves Cover-Up Die-namics from My Favorite Things. This die covers an entire A2 card front with many different pieces, so it’s great for graphic card designs.
I used the die three times, on blue, red and yellow cardstock. After playing with the pieces for a little while, I decided to try and use only some of the pieces, and not cover the entire card front – to keep my card clean and simple 🙂
The latest sketch at the Clean & Simple Card Making FB group is very versatile, and I thought it might work with what I had in mind:
So, here’s my card!
I absolutely love the cool graphic look of the different pieces together!! 😍
For the sentiment, I used the longest stamp from the Bitty Birthday Wishes stamp set from My Favorite Things:
Although I like the overall design very much, the bottom left corner is my favorite:
Well, I better finish this post and submit my card to the challenges! 😆 Did you like this graphic birthday card design? Let me know in the comments below! 🙂
