National Hug Day was two days ago, and we totally missed it 😱 So as a way to celebrate, we created this mini slimline card:

When we thought about making a card together, my son wanted to use the Airplane Fancy Die from Hero Arts. We used it over a piece of holographic cardstock from Erin Lee Creative. This amazing paper catches the light beautifully! 😍
Then, we created the sky using the Clouds for Days stencil from Simon Says Stamp. (I used that stencil many times in the past, if you’re interested in seeing more examples – click here.)
We applied Tumbled Glass Distress Ink using the stencil, and then adhered the airplane in the center.
To finish our card, I stamped the sentiment, the tiny heart and the cute swirl from the Just Miss You stamp set from Simon Says Stamp (another favorite!):

Can you see the different colors where the light hits the airplane? It’s even more amazing in real life!
Here’s another photo – this time in full rainbow colors:

This card was so fun to make! I think the holographic airplane really makes it special ❤️
