Hi! I’m really excited to be guest designer at the Color Hues challenge today, and I have a special Love You card in red and black to share with you! ❤️🖤

I was so excited to see that my Big Butterfly card was the winner at Color Hues! 🤩 I was a guest designer 8 months ago, and I’m very happy to be back as guest designer today 🙂

Today we have a new BOLD color challenge for you – Red and Black!

And here’s my card!

The red and black color scheme inspired my to go for a bold design, so I took the amazing Floating Petals background stamp from My Favorite Things, and stamped it in black over bright red cardstock.

Then, I added the sentiment in gold. I combined two different dies to make the sentiment – the beautiful swirly Love from the A Little Love bundle from Gina K. Designs, and the cursive You from the Script Celebration Words Thinlits set from Tim Holtz and Sizzix.

For a cute finishing touch, I added three tiny hearts from another die set in my stash 💛💛💛

This card is very different from my usual style, but I love it all the same 😍
