Hello! Today I played with the beautiful Whimsical Wildflower Frame stamp set from Gina K. Designs, and combined it with some masking to create a quick and pretty birthday card!

Do you watch the reels that Gina K. shares on IG? I love them, they’re so creative and fun, and she’s usually sharing quick card ideas. On one of her latest reels, she used masking and one of her frame stamps. I don’t have the specific stamp set that she used, but I do have the Whimsical Wildflower Frame stamp set, and I thought it would work great with that technique.
Here’s the card that I made today:
To make my card, I started by masking a 3/4″ wide frame on my card base, and then I blended Salvaged Patina and Cracked Pistachio distress oxide inks. Then, I carefully removed the masking paper, and stamped the floral “borders” from the stamp set.
Finally, I stamped a beautiful sentiment from the same stamp set, right at the center:
I just love how this card turned out, I’m going to make more cards in similar designs and try different colors 🙂
