Hi! It’s time for a new challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches, and this week we have a special color combination! I’ve made an early Shana Tova (Happy New Year) card with a big apple 🙂

Here’s this week’s color scheme:
This color combination was pretty challenging for me at the beginning, but finally I found an idea. The colors reminded me of apples, so I decided to make an early Shana Tova card. The Jewish New Year is about 7 months from now, but you can never start too early, right? 😆
Here’s my card:
The beautiful apple stamp is from the Schoolhouse Blueprint stamp set from Tim Holtz and Stampers Anonymous. I love the blueprint stamps, they’re so cool and unique 😍 The cute sentiment is from Parpar Art.
I watercolored the image with my water brush and Gina K. Designs and Hero Arts ink cubes. I think it’s the first time ever that I actually like my coloring!
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you’ll join our new challenge 🙂

I struggled with these colours initially too Michal – an apple was the perfect solution (I didn’t think of that!) I love that graphic design stamp – and that you are super organised too!
Thank you so much Joanne! 🙂
Love the image & your coloring!
Thank you! 🙂
