Hi there! I’m back today with a cute sunset & tree line card that I made for the latest Color Hues challenge – Pink and Navy!

This color combo reminded me of a card that I made exactly two years ago: (click on the photo to see that blog post)
So I thought it’d be fun to make a similar card:
I started by blending Worn Lipstick distress oxide ink on the background, going lighter as I advanced. I like the “ombre” effect you can get with just one ink color 🙂
Then, I stamped the tree line. For that, I used the gorgeous tree line stamp from the Gina K. Designs You Warm My Heart stamp set. I stamped it a couple of times using Cobalt Archival Ink, and also did second (and third) generation stamping, to get different shades of navy. I love the combination of a pink sunset and a navy tree line:
To finish my card, I stamped a birthday sentiment from the Gina K. Designs Natural Silhouettes stamp set, and added the panel to an A2 card base:
