Hi! It’s time for a new challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches, and today we have a fun sketch challenge! I created a card with what I like to call “Love Letter Blocks” 🙂

I can’t believe it’s already the last challenge of February! 😱
When I saw the sketch, I thought the card that I made for challenge #455 was actually perfect for it too! –
But since I’ve already used the Botanical Blocks stamp set on that card, I decided to go for a different look for the new challenge 🙂
So, here’s my card! I’m calling it “Love Letter Blocks” 🥰 –
I played a bit with the squares locations on the front, to give my card a more whimsical look. I used the Bold & Brushy Uppercase stamp set from Concord & 9th, and started by stamping the doodled frames. Then, I filled the frames with colors, with some Altenew dye inks. Finally, I stamped the letters at the center of each frame.
For extra interest, I stamped three hearts in black around the letter blocks. They looked to dark, so I added three colorful hearts on top of them. I slightly shifted the colorful hearts, to create a dimensional look:
And that’s all for today! Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you’ll join us for the challenge! 🙂

This is such a great take on the sketch Michal! The overlapping of your love letter blocks is a subtle yet integral feature that really makes this card stand out and the contrast of black with the pastel infills so pretty. I LOVE it!
Thank you so much Joanne! 🙂
I really love both your cards! Shows how versatile this sketch is with 2 very different looking cards!
Thank you so much Greta! 🙂
