Hi! I’m back today with my card for the new challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches. We have a fun sketch challenge, and I made a clean kraft and white card with the gorgeous Intertwined embossing folder from Tim Holtz!

Here’s the fun sketch that Jeanne made for us to play with this week:
I wanted to make a horizontal card, so I rotated the sketch:
To make the wavy border, I simply drew a line with a pencil and then cut it with my scissors. Then, I stamped the sentiment from the Whatnot Sentiment Set from Your Next Stamp in the “valley” of the wave. The curls of the sentiment really match the waves of the border. 😍
For the bottom half, I used the Intertwined embossing folder from Tim Holtz and Sizzix on a piece of kraft cardstock. I adhered the two pieces together, and then added the butterfly:
Because of the amazing dimension of the 3D embossing folder, I needed to use foam tape to adhere the white half to the card base 😄
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I really love how this card turned out, and I hope you do too! 🙂 The combination of the white smooth paper with the kraft intertwined pattern on the card is really gorgeous, don’t you think? 🥰
