Hi friends! I’m back today with a colorful rainbow thank you card. ๐ I used a fun stamping technique that I learned in the SCT Crop & Create Delivered Cardmaking event!

The super-creative Amy Yingling from The Stamp Market showed a separate inking technique, that works great on big and bold sentiment stamps. Here’s my take on her idea:
First, I stamped the sentiment in rainbow colors, using inks from Gina K. Designs, Altenew and MFT Stamps (see below the specific colors that I used). I used TONS of Mint Low-Tack Tape to mask the stamp. ๐ Then, I die cut the the sentiment with the matching die, and added some foam tape on the back.
For the background, I wanted to create a contrast to the colorful sentiment. So, I took a small rainbow stamp by The Stamping Village, and stamped it repeatedly on the background in light gray ink. (By the way, I used that stamp exactly one year ago, click here to see that card!)
I really like the contrast between the sentiment and the background:
