Hello! It’s time for a new challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches, and this week we have a wonderful color combination! I created a BIG smile peek-through card for the DT inspiration 🙂

The color combination that Shannon chose for us is AMAZING:
Isn’t it terrific?? I love turquoise, and combining it with silver? Mind blown. 😍
Here’s my card:
For my card, I wanted to do some ink blending. As you know, it’s my favorite technique, especially with distress oxide inks. I used Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers – love these colors ❤️
On another white panel, I used the Peek-Through Pattern Dies from Concord & 9th. This die set includes two big dies, that cut a word strip on the paper, but keep the pieces connected, so you get a peek-through window. Very fun and unique! 🙂
Once my two white panels were attached, it was time to add the silvery touch 🤩 I used the die again, but this time on a silver kraft-stock. Using my scissors, I separated the letters from the panel, and added them on top of the white:
The smile peek-through over the ink blending is really pretty, and I’m so happy with the way this card turned out! ❤️
The shine is amazing, isn’t it?? 🤩 Here’s a different angle:
