Hi and happy Tuesday friends! It’s time for a new challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches, and this week we have a fun color challenge, with a vibrant (and beautiful!) color combination. I created a fun birthday card for the challenge, with a giant hooray die cut 😄

Here’s our color combination for this week:
The bold and vibrant colors made me go for a bold card design:
For my card, I wanted to use the Giant Hooray die from Lawn Fawn. That die is indeed gigantic, and I thought it would work well with the bold challenge colors.
To create the diagonal pattern, I cut thin strips of cardstock from Gina K. Designs, and adhered them to a piece of paper. I tried to adhere the strips as close to each other as possible, to create an illusion of pattern paper. Once my faux pattern paper was ready, I used the big die and cut out the word.
Because the die cut and colors were so bold, I simply added a tiny “happy birthday” sentiment underneath the giant hooray, and my card was ready! 🙂

Happy Tuesday! ❤️
