Hello everyone! It’s time for a new sketch challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches, and I have a colorful balloon birthday card, in rainbow colors. I hope you’ll get inspired! 🙂

Here’s the sketch we have this week:

At first, I thought I’d make a new version of a card that I made last year: (click on the photo to see that post!)

But then I decided to go for an entirely different look, and do some stamping instead of ink blending:

As you can see, I’m in a balloon period right now… 🥳🥳🥳 Only three weeks ago, I created another balloon card (click here to remind yourself of that card 🙂 ), and here I am, using the Happy Balloons stamp set from Concord & 9th again!

I started with stamping the balloons in rainbow colors, and then I stamped the ribbons. The ribbon stamp is from the Pop-Up Par-Tay stamp set by Concord & 9th, and instead of my usual black, I chose a gray color for the ribbons.

To finish the card, I added the Happy Birthday sentiment strip on top of the balloon rainbow:

And that was it! This card was super quick and easy to make 🙂
