Today is the final Tuesday of August, and because it’s the fifth challenge of the month – this week we have a double challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches – a color combo AND a sketch! How fun is that?!
Here’s the card that I made for the challenge inspiration:
For my card, I used a beautiful stamp set from Hero Arts, that came exclusively as part of the Crop & Create Delivered March 2022 event kit. I’m on a crafting spree lately, trying to catch up on all the wonderful classes and supplies! ๐
I stamped the cherries on my card front first, and then added the sentiments on top. I like the combination of print and cursive fonts on the different sentiments:
If I’m honest, the layout of the sketch was not in my comfort zone, but I mitigated the challenge by using stamping – that is definitely in my crafty comfort zone ๐ That’s a good tip when struggling with a challenge – just go to your favorite technique and work from there.
