Hello! I’m back today with a window card with a beautiful scene of summer silhouettes on the background. ❤️

It’s a new month and now it’s my turn to be the host at CAS Colours & Sketches. I’m so excited!! 🤩 For the first challenge of the month, we have a color challenge, and here is the color combination that I chose:

Here is the card that I made:

First, I created the background with distress oxide inks (I used Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed and Pine Needles). Then, I stamped the beautiful field silhouette, from the Summer Silhouettes stamp set from Gina K. Designs. After everything was completely dry, I cut the small rectangles using the window die from Master Layouts 9.

I used the same die on white cardstock, to create the white window frame, and assembled everything on a black card base.

Finally, I stamped the small sentiment from the Friendly Silhouettes stamp set. I love all Gina K.’s silhouettes stamp sets, they have gorgeous images and beautiful sentiments 😍

I really like how this card turned out – the look of the summer silhouettes behind the window in so cool!
