Two Different Rainbow-Covered Cards

Hello! I have a colorful post for you today, with two different cards covered in rainbow colors 😍🌈 I hope you’ll like them!

First of all, let’s take a look at the two cards together:

Now, let’s talk a bit about how I made them! 🙂

Rainbow-Covered Card #1 – Rays

To create the background for this card, I used the Color Block Slices dies from Spellbinders. I used the thinner die to cut the rays/slices in rainbow colors, and then arranged them on my card front. I then added the rainbow-covered panel to a top-folding A2 card base.

Then, I added the sentiment, using the Script Celebration Words dies from Tim Holtz and Sizzix. I stacked two die cuts for extra dimension, and added Glossy Accents on top, to make them shine 🤩

To finish my card, I added one clear drop to each ray:

I love this card so much, I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to part with it 😂 Maybe for my husband’s or my Mom’s birthday…

Rainbow-Covered Card #2 – Abstract

For this card, I used the Cool Curves Cover-Up Die-namics from My Favorite Things. This time, I covered the entire card front with the colorful pieces, to create a “circular” rainbow. I used only one piece of each color, so I still have so many pieces left, and can create 14 more cards!… 😅

To finish my card, I added a large die-cut birthday word and stamped the tiny “wishes” right beneath it:

Here are again the two cards together. I love that they’re both “rainbow-covered”, but still completely different cards! 😍
