Here’s the fun sketch that Cecile created for us this week:
And here’s my card!

As you can see, I was inspired mostly by the overlapping of the shapes, and less by the fact that they’re both triangles in opposite directions 😅
I used my all-time favorite butterfly stamp set from Avery Elle. I’ve had this stamp set forever, it’s actually one of the first products that I got when I started making cards – and I still love it and use it very often 😍
First, I stamped the butterflies in two shades of teal/turquoise, and die-cut them. Then, I added them to my card front, with the darker one at front, covering the lighter one slightly.
To finish my card, I stamped the sentiment. I like the way it pops against the double butterfly “side” of the card:

The sketch was so fun play with, I think I’m going to make another card!

What a beautiful CAS design, Michal! I love that you used two butterflies for the triangles.
Thank you!! 🙂
Looking forward to seeing what new creations you post.
Your butterfly card is beautiful and inspirational.
Thank you so much Rosy! 🙂
I love the Iceland butterflies Michal – a great take on the triangles, which sent me into a flat spin! I love the tranquil aqua tones too – gorgeous!
Thank you so much Joanne! 🙂
