Hi friends! I’m back today with a happy smiley & circles card, in mustard and turquoise colors! ๐๐๐

My Stamptember orders are beginning to arrive, and I’m in love with the Happy Faces stamp set!! ๐ It’s super cute and fun, and I have so many ideas for it. Earlier this week I posted this card on my IG account – isn’t it cute?!
After making that first card, I wanted to try something different, inspired by the Mustard and Turquoise combo at the Color Hues Challenge:
Here’s the card that I made:
To make my card, I started by stamping the circles in mustard yellow and turquoise. I used my MISTI tool for it, to double-stamp each circle and also to make sure everything was perfectly aligned. Then, I added the smiley border and its face on the top yellow circle:
While working on the sentiment, I actually has a small “craftastrophy” – I stamped a round sentiment on one of the turquoise circles at the bottom, but I didn’t like the look of it, and I was sure that my card was ruined!! ๐ฑ But then I had an idea – I decided to die cut that circle and stamp another sentiment on my card base…
I’m so happy with how it looks now, you can say it was a happy accident ๐ I love the colors and the combination of the smiley and the circles on this card!
