Here’s the fun sketch that Cecile chose for us this week:
And here’s my “Happy Elf” Christmas card!
When I saw the non-geometrical shape on the sketch, I knew immediately that I wanted to make something fun with it. And what’s better fun than the adorable elf from Tim Holtz’s Santa’s Helper die set?? ๐ Once I decided to use that happy elf, the rest of the design was super quick.
I added the red stripes using one of the Simple Patterns Trio stencils from Simon Says Stamp, added the elf, trimmed his hat… and added a simple Merry Christmas sentiment:
This card was so easy to make, I’m totally in love with that happy elf, and definitely going to make more Christmas cards with it soon! ๐
