Hello everyone! It’s time for the last challenge of 2022 at CAS Colours & Sketches, and I have a special winter scene card, with reindeer and an evergreen tree 🦌🦌🦌🌲

I’m so happy to share my card for the 500th challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches!! We have a huge celebration going on, so be sure to check out the challenge post!

As you can see, the challenge is to choose any previous challenge from 2022 and make it seasonal. I chose the sketch from challenge #480:

The thin triangle reminded me of an evergreen / Christmas tree, so I rotated the sketch and created this card:

I didn’t have the exact colors that I wanted in my cardstock stash, so I blended some Rustic Wilderness and Walnut Stain distress oxide inks on white cardstock, and then used the Evergreen dies from My Favorite Things.

After assembling the tree pieces on my card front, I added the three reindeer. They were actually cut out from a larger die cut – the amazing Santa and reindeer die from last year’s Tim Holtz’s Die-cember collaboration.

To finish my card, I stamped a tiny Merry Christmas sentiment, and added the front panel to a navy card base.

For some shine, I used my Wink of Stella shimmer pen on the evergreen:
