Hello everyone, it’s time for a new color challenge at CC&S and I created a fun little card with a colorful cardinal 🦜

Here’s the color combination that Joanne chose for us:

For the cardinal, I used the Feathered Cardinal die set by Tim Holtz. I used colorful cardstock pieces that matched the challenge colors, to create a cardinal that looks a bit like a parrot 😂

I added a pretty frame from Spellbinders to “ground” the cardinal. Finally, I finished my card by stamping the fun sentiment from the Printmaking Birds stamp set from Simon Says Stamp:

It’s hard to see in the photo, but I added some Glossy Accents on the cardinal’s beak, for some shine.

I love how the Feathered Cardinal set can be used in many ways, the colorful cardinal on this card makes me smile when I look at it 🙂
