I was honored when my white-on-white card was the winner at AAA Cards, and I’m so happy that Maaike invited my to join the new challenge as a guest designer! The theme is “Ink blending along the edges”, and I hope you’ll play along with us:
Here’s the card that I created for the design team inspiration:
To create my card, I started by blending the curving rainbow. For that, I used the Drifts & Hills stencil from My Favorite Things and some distress oxide inks. Once the curving rainbow blend was ready, I stamped the butterfly and the sentiment. For the card base I used light stone cardstock, to contrast the colorful rainbow:
This card was super fun to make, I always find ink blending very relaxing and de-stressing… ๐
