Hello everyone! 🙂 It’s time for a new color challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches and I have a quick whimsical flower card to share with you! 💜💛💚

The lovely YoonYoung is our host this month, and here’s the color combination that she chose for our new color challenge:

The wonderful colors immediately made me think of spring, so I decided to make a cute spring scene on my card:

I used two mini stamp sets from Gina K. Designs on this card: Hello Sunshine and Lovely Words. The whimsical flower and butterfly work great with the “hand-drawn” sun and the sentiment, and the images matched perfectly the vibes I was aiming for on the card.

First, I stamped the sentiment on the bottom right corner, and then created the little scene on the left. To finish up the card, I added a few clear sequins to balance everything:

As you can see, I used two ink colors on the flower stamp. 🙂 It’s not perfect, but I’m happy with how it turned out! And it saved me from coloring, which is always a bonus 😅 (Although, if I’m honest, that flower is super easy to color, as you can see on this card from about a year and a half ago)
