Hi friends! It’s time for another sketch challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches, and I have a colorful and graphic birthday card to share with you! 🙂

Let’s take a look at the fun sketch that YoonYoung created for us:
I decided to rotate the sketch 90 degrees to the left, and go for a bold and graphic design. Here’s my card:
I must admit, this card make me giggle! 😍
To make this card, I used stamps from the Birthday Sentiments stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. I really like the boldness of the font and the sizes of the sentiments on this set.
First, I stamped the vertical “wishes” in black. Then, I used my MISTI to position the “birthday” and stamp it five times in different colors (see below), to create the colorful graphic design I wanted for this card.
I tried some embellishments, but decided to leave the card as is. 🙂 I only added a layer of craft foam behind the card front, for some dimension.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! For updates about new posts, please follow me on Instagram and Pinterest.

I just love this Michal – the bright colours really pop against the white and the sentiments are sized perfectly for the vertical against the horizontal too. Genius!
Thanks so much Joanne! 🙂
