Hi friends! It’s time for a new challenge at AAA Cards, and our theme today is Pink Birthday, so of course I created a pink birthday card! 💗💗💗

Pink Birthday is such a vibrant, joyful theme for a card! And there’s a prize too! 🤩 One of the challenge participants will be awarded a 10 euro/dollar voucher to celebrate the challenge’s 9th birthday 🥳🥳🥳

I admit pink is really not one of my go-to colors, but that’s the fun thing about card challenges, right? Sometimes you have to step out of your crafty comfort zone! 😅

Here’s my card:

I used the fun Make a Wish die set from Concord & 9th to create the candles, and arranged them on my card front. At first I planned to create a standard A2 card, but then I ruined it with a crooked sentiment… 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ So I trimmed the panel with the candles and created a square card instead. Crisis averted 😅

For the sentiment, I used a cute stamp from the Birthday Messages stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.

I love the golden flames on the candles, they look so pretty against all the pink! 😍
