Hi everyone! I’m participating today in a fun Instagram hop called “Create It Three Times”. This month’s theme is “Masculine/Male”, and I decided to use the Tim Holtz Inquisitive stamp set in three different ways and create three different cards! 🙂

Card #1 – Monochromatic Sherlock Holmes Card
The first card I created is inspired by Sherlock Holmes!
I used one of the large gentleman stamps and the sentiments in the Inquisitive set, that reminded me of Sherlock Holmes (probably because of the hat and the monocle/magnifying glass). To match the Holmes theme, I stamped a gingham pattern from Lawn Fawn on the edges in Lost Shadow distress ink.
I really love the cool vintage detective vibe of this card!! 😍
Card #2 – A Gentlemen Rainbow Card
After creating a card with a single gentleman, I wanted to create a card with all the gentlemen! 😏
I used the three gentleman stamp twice, to fill the center of a mini slimline card. I did some masking in order to ink each gentleman in a different color and create a gentleman rainbow 🎩🌈 (see below the ink colors that I used).
Finally, I ink blended Lost Shadow distress ink around the edges, to fill the white space, and added a snarky sentiment strip:
These guys really have a cool attitude, don’t they? 😎
Card #3 – Graphic Circles Card
The third – and final – card continues the rainbow “theme”, but it’s much more graphic than the previous cards:
I used the big circles stamp from the set, and after lots of masking, I stamped each circle in a different color. As you can see, I used the same colors I used on the second card, but added three more colors.
To contrast the colorful circles, I added a die cut sentiment in black and white.
And here are again the three cards together!
The “Create It Three Ways” challenge really made me think out of the box and the Inquisitive stamp set was just perfect for it! It was so much fun, I can’t wait for the next challenge! 🙂
