Hi friends! There’s an amazing new release at Spellbinders and I have two fun cards created with the It’s My Party Too collection 🙂

My favorite collections from the Spellbinders June 2023 release are hands down It’s My Party and It’s My Party Too 😍 Birthday cards are my favorite cards to make, because there’s always someone to give them to!
I used the embossing folders from It’s My Party Too to create two quick birthday cards:
The balloon card was the first that I made:
I stared by embossing the front panel with the new Floating Balloons 3D embossing folder, and then I blended distress oxide inks over it. The texture of the embossed panel created a cool variation of colors. You can of course do the ink blending first and then emboss the paper, but you won’t get this effect, so it’s better for a more “subtle” design.
To finish my card I added a sentiment from the Spellbinders Simply Perfect Mix & Match Sentiments die set – another absolute favorite. I love how the white sentiment stands out against the colorful background ❤️
For my second card, I chose a much more clean and simple design.
First, I created the colorful heart using cardstock strips and one of the Spellbinders Essential Hearts dies. Then I embossed it using the new Tiny Dots embossing folder. It was perfectly aligned when I positioned it, but it must’ve moved sometime 🙁 however, I still think the embossed heart is very pretty ❤️
I added a sentiment strip from Simon Says Stamp, and that was it!
These embossing folders are so versatile, I’m sure I’ll use them again very soon.
