Hi friends! 🙂 It’s time for a new sketch challenge at CC&S and it’s super versatile this time! I created a delicious birthday card with a layer chocolate cake for the challenge 🎂🎂🎂

Here’s our new sketch!
The stacked squares reminded me of layer cakes, so that’s what I went for 🙂
I used the Birthday Bash stamp set from Gina K. Designs. It’s a great set for all things birthday, but sadly it’s no longer available 🙁
For the chocolate layers I used Vintage Photo Distress ink. I really like the texture on the stamped layers, it makes them look much more realistic and yummy 😋😋
To finish my card, I added one of the sentiments from the same stamp set.
I think it’s my first-ever birthday card with a layer cake! Usually my birthday cards are with balloons or presents, but almost never with cakes 🙂 Isn’t it strange?
Thank you so much for stopping by today! For updates about new posts, please follow me on Instagram and Pinterest.
Happy Tuesday! ❤️
