Hello friends! It’s time for a new challenge at AAA Cards and I have a fun masculine birthday card to share with you today! 🙂

Our new challenge theme at AAA Cards is Masculine! 🎩

The cool vintage car on the inspiration photo really got my creative mind rolling! (Pun intended 😂) And the ombre background sent me to my favorite technique – distress oxide blending.

Here’s my masculine birthday card!

First, I created the ombre strip at the bottom of the card. I used Spiced Marmalade and Fossilized Amber distress oxide inks – one of my favorite color combinations 🙂

Then, I added the car and the sentiment. Both of them are from Tim Holtz and Stampers Anonymous, but only the sentiment is still available (as part of the amazing Inquisitive stamp set):

That car is soooooo gorgeous, and it looks great against the blended background! 😍
